the clients brief was to achieve a quiet elegance coupled with comfort and functionality. a layered lighting plan along with a monochromatic palette was chosen. white, black and golden teak dominated the interiors.
the intermediary areas were clad in white panelling with lit circular cut-outs on the ceiling and wall to soften the space and create a mellow warmth.
the cabinetry in the living and dining areas were disguised within white ribbed units allowing for purity of space and a uniform perspective. this same technique was employed in the bedrooms where wardrobes were built into multi-purpose wall units.
simplicity of line was used to design the furniture fulfilling the aim to create a linear, intelligent space where sophistication and serenity merged.
