interior architecture and design. interior construction.
interior architecture firm mova1 designed and constructed this 2nd floor studio apartment following vertical and horizontal lines to complement the linear layout of the floor plan. material usage included extensive use of exposed timber and stone. attention was paid to intermediary areas which facilitated maximum natural light both to the studio and to the floors below. the ventilator shaft, which ran all the way down to the ground floor was topped with a custom made exposed timber and glass cap which allowed light to filter down.
the end result was a design conscious, creative, organic space that fulfilled the client’s brief.
