this worli apartment with a stunning sea facing view was stripped down to its skeleton and re-designed to suit new sensibilities. architectural changes were made to doors, windows, ceilings and walls. a detailed and extensive electrical plan was laid out and what emerged was a classic, masculine sanctuary clad in ribbed wood with glimpses of steel and granite. handpicked pieces of furniture, artworks and furnishings completed this residence; a definition of under-stated luxury that earned the front cover of a leading design journal.

this project earned interior architect varrun motihar the 2019 india design id honours award for the top ten interior designers in india in the living spaces category.
